When are the submission deadlines for the Centenary Anthem for the Northern Territory competition?
Monday 18 April 2011:Applications open.
Monday 16 May: Applications close.
• PLEASE NOTE: Our deadlines are not postmark deadlines. We must receive your submission materials by these dates. No exceptions please.
Is there an entry fee?
No, there is no entry fee to submit.
How are the song submissions rated and processed?
All submissions are reviewed by a judging panel coordinated by Music NT comprised of local and national music industry representatives.
I have handwritten lyrics, am I able to photocopy this and send it with my application form?
No. We request that you save your typed lyrics as a word document or similar and include it on your submission disk or as part of your online application.
Will my materials be returned to me after the submission process?
Your materials can be returned to you only if your mailed application is accompanied by a stamped self address envelope large enough to return your material.
My band mates and I co-write all of our music, should I make submit one application on behalf of all of us?
Yes, should you be successful the prize will be awarded to all writers of the winning anthem.
